Penny for a Pound Challenge Raises over $2800 to help fight Breast Cancer

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Pledge a Pound for a Penny Challenge. Over $2800 was raised to be donated to the American Cancer Society.

“I didn’t have the day I wanted(670/435/600-1705 raw total), but the real goal I set for the meet was met, as over $2,800 was raised for helping in fighting breast cancer, and I am very proud of that.

I want to thank everyone who donated and helped support me in this. I really, really appreciate it. This is a cause very dear and near to my heart and I hope to make this an annual event.

All money was donated to the American Cancer Society in the name of Wendy Niebling.”
